Requirements to get Legally Married in Los Cabos

Legal Marriage in Mexico
- Marriage Application – We will provide Marriage application
- Birth Certificates of Bride and Groom –A copy of the original birth certificate
- Passport Copies- of bride, groom and the four witnesses
- Divorce Decrees (if applicable)– Only the first and last page copies are required, original is not needed
- Blood Test to get Medical Certificate – It is necessary for the bride and groom to take this test in Mexico
- Four Witnesses – Please include their information in the marriage application. Witnesses can be relatives or friends. They must be at least 18 years old
- Tourist Cards Official Entry Immigration Form (FMM) – Given at the airport in Cabo

Catholic Weddings
- Letter from your local parish to the priest of the church here, introducing you and confirming and outlining the steps you are taking and/or have completed towards your pending nuptials.
- Legal (Civil) Marriage License – you must be legally married first before you can get married by the church
- Certificate of completion of a premarital course by both of you – held by your local parish.
- Completion by both of you of the full Archdiocese Prenuptial Investigation, including witness testimonials. depending on your situation there will be various papers to fill out together with your priest, ie. should one of you not be Catholic or have been married before. Your parish priest will be able to tell you everything you need.

- Birth Certificates and Baptism Certificates
- First Communion Certificates and Confirmation Certificates
- Witness ID’ s
- The Catholic ceremonies must be at the Local Church - other locations are not permitted by the church.
